Lou Ella (Mayne) Poling

Lou Ella Poling, 63 of Rowlesburg, WV passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born on October 14, 1959 in Grafton, daughter of Monalee Helen (Harris) Mayne, Rowlesburg, and the late Earl Junior Mayne. Lou graduated from Rowlesburg High School, Class of 1978. She worked at Matthews International in Kingwood as an Order Entry for many years. Lou was a member of the Rowlesburg VFW Auxiliary, and Kingwood Eagles. She loved collecting teapots and camping. Lou is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Jerry Allen Poling whom she married on February 1, 1980; one son, Jerry Allen Poling II and wife Megan, Fairmont; two grandchildren, Scarlett Poling and Thatcher Poling; two sisters, Lonna Jean Duffitt and Randall, Rowlesburg, Kathy Strawderman and Orville Dale, Tunnelton; five brothers, Charles “Chuck” Wayne Mayne and Gloria, William Sanford Mayne and Mary, Paul Ray Mayne and Wilma, Charles “Charlie” Allen Mayne all of Rowlesburg, and Earl “Butch” Harris, Baltimore, MD; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Lou was preceded in death by one brother, Robert “Henny” Mayne.  Bolyard Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the cremation and honored to serve the Poling family.
