Lula Belle (Phillips) Myers, 83 of Fellowsville, WV passed away on June 7, 2024 at her residence. She was born on August 21, 1940 in Tunnelton, daughter of the late Kenneth Clenn and Rachael Catherine (Herndon) Phillips. Lula graduated from Tunnelton High School, Class of 1959. She worked at Heldreth Hotel as a Cook, Morgan Foodland on night shift making donuts, and then helping her nieces cleaning apartment in Morgantown until retirement. Lula loved gardening, collected bells, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Denver United Methodist Church. Lula is survived by her three sons, Steven Myers and Brenda, Kingwood, Kevin Myers and Brenda, Evansville, and Brian Myers and Joyce, Gladesville; one son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Lantz Cassady Jr; ten grandchildren, Stevens Myers, Brian Myers, Hannah Savage and Shawn, Jessica Wilson and Hadley, Amanda Dezutti and Tony, Amber Dewitt and Evan, Chris Myers and Kelly, Cody Myers and Mary Ann, Ava Myers, Geena Marie Cassady; seventeen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Britton and Butch, Kay Swisher all of Tunnelton; one brother, Wilbert Phillips and Dolly, Denver; several nieces, nephews. In addition to her parents, Lula was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford “Skip” Myers; one daughter, Catherine “Cathy” Marie (Myers) Cassady; one granddaughter, Rachel Myers; one brother, Delbert Phillips; one brother-in-law, Allen Swisher. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 3-7pm and Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.
