Mae Kathern (Ketterman) Huffman

Mae Kathern Huffman, 82 of Morgantown, WV passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at her residence. She was born on November 13, 1942 in Tunnelton, daughter of the late James Andrew Ketterman and Myrtle (Bennett) Ketterman Anderson. Mae graduated from Fellowsville High School and attended Fairmont State College. She retired from Sterling Faucet in Morgantown. Mae loved doing crafts, sewing, playing the accordion in the church and her love was for God and the Church. Mae was a Faithful Member of the Apostolic Gospel Church of Cheat Lake. Mae is survived by one daughter, Kathy M Kurtz, Morgantown; one son, David J Huffman, Cheat Lake; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mae is preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Huffman in 2002; one daughter, Carla S Major, two sons, Marshal W Huffman and Keith A Huffman; one grandchild, Devon Major; one great-grandchild, Dakota Pritt; two sisters and three brothers. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am with Bishop Wheeler A Estepp officiating.
