Margaret Ann Moore, 79, of Tunnelton, WV, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 8, 2025.
Born on December 23, 1945, in Reedsville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Murl and Leola (Savage) Snyder. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Eugene Moore.
A devoted homemaker, Margaret dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She enjoyed quiet moments spent coloring, solving crossword puzzles, and reading true-life stories. Her happiest times were at family cookouts, gatherings, and reunions—always surrounded by the people she loved. A woman of strong faith, she found great joy in attending the West End United Brethren Church and Grace Chapel.
Margaret is survived by her three children: Bonnie Walls of Bruceton; William “Bub” Moore Jr. and wife Vicky of Albright; and Amy Adams and husband John of Tunnelton. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren—B.J. Moore and wife Alice, Dawn Jones and husband Billy, David Walls, and Justin Groves and wife Amber—and eight great-grandchildren: Everly, Brooklynn, Bentley, Gabby, Allison, Brantley, Leeann, and Jack.
She is also survived by three siblings: Ida Fizer and husband Ralph of Ohio, Helen Flower of Montana, and Kenny Snyder and wife Nancy of Pennsylvania; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by ten siblings: Thelma Lambert, Mary Auvil, Francis Snyder, Betty Dixon, Janet Starcher, Beulah Hughes, Virginia Dixon, Lindsey Snyder, Deborah Miller, and Donna Snyder.
Margaret will be remembered for her love of family, her warm heart, and the joy she found in life’s simple blessings.
