Marguerite "Margie" (Thomas) Bucklew

Marguerite “Margie” Thomas Bucklew, 74 of Tunnelton, formerly of Bruceton Mills, WV, passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 4, 2020 with family by her side. She was born on March 2, 1946 in Fairmont, daughter of the late Carl and Ocie Hixenbaugh Thomas. Margie had worked at the Preston County School System. She loved watching birds, squirrels and deer. She enjoyed camping, going to the beach, riding motorcycles and making up songs. Margie is survived by her loving companion, Michael Barlow, Tunnelton;  two sons, Pete Bucklew and wife Rhonda, Valley Point, Eddie Bucklew and wife, Michele, Tunnelton; two daughters, Ellen “Bubbles” Seese and husband, Mark, Bruceton  Mills, Nancy Rexroad and husband, Vince, Bruceton Mills; twelve grandchildren, Chris, Joe, Amanda, Niki, Felicia, Monica, Sammi, Hunter, Morgan, Jessica, Matt and Cameron; fourteen great grandchildren, Maggie, Nora, Ella, Delaney, Olivia, Millie, Jude, Kiara, Alex, Chloe, Easton, Jayce, Aiden, Lou Lou; and her four legged companion, Ringo; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd “Bob” James Harvey Bucklew in 2010, ten siblings, Delbert Tusing, Richard Thomas, Rollin Thomas, Ray Thomas, Lillian Thomas, Ira Thomas, Arles Thomas, Dora Singleton, Ellen Haslacker, Rita Hemrick. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 12 Noon – 6 PM with proper distancing and face mask required. A Service will be held Monday, June 8, 2020 at 11AM with Pastor Barry Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at Guthrie Grove Cemetery, Bruceton Mills, WV.
