Martha Dawn (Pieart) Atkins

Martha Dawn Atkins, 49 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at her residence. She was born on October 9, 1975 in Morgantown, daughter of Shirley Jane (McCrobie) Pieart, Howesville, and the late Glenn Richard Owens. Martha graduated from Preston High School, Class of 1993. She had worked as a Nutrition Aide at Kingwood Healthcare Center. She loved baking, crocheting, making wreaths and most of all spending time with her grandbabies. Martha is survived by her husband, Lonnie Franklin Atkins; three children, Jonathon Craig Atkins (Kayla), Reedsville, Abigail Lynn Atkins, (fiancé, Joshua Sisler), Albright, Ivy Lynn Atkins (fiancé, Garrett Hawkins), Gladesville; two grandchildren, Scarlett Rayne Atkins and Bentley Gunner Atkins; one brother, Allen Wayne Pieart (Patty), OH; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Martha is preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Franklin Atkins, Jr; father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Franklin Lonnie and Bonnie Suellen Atkins. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm and Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave Biggins officiating.
