Nellie (Waybright) Ridenour

Nellie Waybright Ridenour, 85, of Fellowsville WV, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Pine Ridge Nursing Home, with her loving family by her side. She was born to Abel W. and Zula Bennett Waybright on December 8th, 1934.  She graduated from Fellowsville High School in 1952. She married Edward Ridenour on October 29, 1952. She was a mother of six and a homemaker. Nellie enjoyed attending church, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her family. She also loved flowers. She is survived by four of her children, Connie and husband Terry Sigley of Tunnelton, WV, Peggy and husband Richard Stephens of Jasper, AL, Dwayne and wife Kathy Ridenour of Linden, VA, Alice and husband James Fraley of Fairview, WV, one sister; Ida Simons of Tunnelton, WV, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Nellie is proceeded in death by her husband of fifty seven years, Edward Ridenour; two children, daughter, Susan Deavers and son, Ricky Ridenour, and eleven of her siblings; Noah W, Joseph W, John Waybright, Roy Bennett, Etta Mitter , Margie Ridenour, Anna Belle Hershman, Myrtle Anderson, Elsie Mitchell, Silva Ridenour and Ernie Waybright . Thank you Pine Ridge Nurses, Aides and Staff for the many years of quality care, friendship, dedication, and love shown to Nellie. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 2-8PM with proper distancing and face mask required. A Private Funeral Service will be held at Bolyard Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 1PM with Pastor Joey Ridenour officiating. We will be webcasting the funeral on her memorial page on the funeral home website. If for some reason the webcast drops we will finish recording and reload once completed to watch.
