Patricia Ann (Poling) Larew

Patricia “Patty” Ann Larew, 74 of Newburg, WV passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was born in Grafton, WV on September 24, 1943, a daughter of the late Theodore and Bessie (Williams) Poling. Patty worked at many places but devoted most of her time to BB&T Trucking. She helped build BB&T Trucking into a successful family business and worked there as a secretary for over 40 years. She is survived by two sons, Thomas and wife Rhonda Larew of Augusta, WV, William and wife Dawn Larew of Thornton, WV; one daughter, Beverly and husband James “Eddie” Larew of Newburg, WV; two step-sons, Lowell Jeremy Larew and wife, Mandy of Morgantown, Christopher Lee Larew, Newburg; two brothers, William and wife Patty Poling of Marquess, WV, James and wife Bonnie of Grafton, WV; one sister, Barbara “June” Davis of Grafton, WV; five grandchildren, Jessica and husband Justin Decewicz, Corey and wife Courtney Watkins, Jacklyn “Jackie” Larew and fiancé Stanley Annon, Zach Watkins, Dakota Larew and fiancée Joanna Bolyard. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by one brother, David Poling; two stepsons, Gregory Larew and Eric Larew. Patty was a loving mother, grandmother, and Nanny to all. She enjoyed spending her time with family, playing cards and board games, going on weekly shopping trips with daughter and best friend Bev, going on trips, playing mini-golf, working on plastic canvas, and watching “soaps.” Patty rarely missed an episode of Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune. She also enjoyed cooking for her family. Her best-known dishes include bacon gravy, baked steak and gravy, macaroni salad, and Judy salad. Patty was the matriarch of her family. She made an impact in so many lives. She has been a mother and grandmother to many. She was a pure angel. Patty accepted Justin Larew, Stephanie Larew, Emily Larew, Brittany Larew, Marissa Street, Lylah Nestor, Emma Nestor, Evelynn Larew, Bastian Larew, Hudson Larew, and Landyn Beauchesne as her own grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 2-8pm and Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 9am until time of service at 12:00 noon with Rev.
