Paul Donald Poling, Sr.

Paul Donald Poling, Sr., 92 of Newburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1928 in Grafton, son of the late John Carney and Minnie May (Shreve) Poling. Paul was retired from CSX Railroad in Grafton as a Car Inspection in 1989 after forty-four years of service. He enjoyed going to the Christian Fellowship Church in Tunnelton, yard sales and flea markets. Paul is survived by his wife, Marjorie Roberta (Parker) Poling; five children, Paul “Donnie” Donald Poling, Jr, and Patty, Grafton, Betty Sue Chilcott, Carlisle, PA, Thomas Richard Poling and Kathy, Conway, SC, Kathleen “Kate” Regels and Gary, Hagerstown, MD, Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Poling, Huntington, WV; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Dale Poling Sr; one sister, Dorothy Zinn, Reedsville; one sister-in-law, Jean Poling, Grantsville, WV; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one son, David Poling, one brother, John Edward Poling, one sister-in-law, Charlene Poling and one brother-in-law, Robert Zinn. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Woodsdale Memorial Park at 2 pm with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating.  Online condolences can be sent for the family at www.bolyardfuneralhomewv.com.
