Phillip Anthony Snow

Phillip Anthony Snow, 68, of Independence, WV  passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at his residence. He was born April 6, 1956 in Morgantown, son of the late John Celis Snow Sr. and Mary Ann "Ellington" Snow.

Phillip enjoyed music and playing his musical instruments. He was an avid drummer. Phillip loved sports and was involved in baseball, basketball and boxing. He took special joy in studying his book collection, and  writing. Phillip's Bible was never far from his reach and attended church. Phillip's laugh would bring a smile to your face. He was quick to give compliments and kind greetings. Phillip never focused on negativity. Phillip will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Fond memories will bring comfort to his family and friends during this difficult time.  

Phillip is survived by his brothers, John Jr, Jerome “Jerry” Snow, Carthelius Snow, Cornelius Snow; sister, Margie Snow; aunts, first cousin, Victor Snow; many other cousins, nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by Reed Snow Sr, Johnnie Mae Snow and Habieba Snow. 

Family will receive friends at the Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 61 Beechurst Ave, Morgantown, WV on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 1:00PM until the time of Funeral Service at 2:00PM with Pastor Georgia B Morrow officiating.
