Rhonda Lane (Wolfe) Jennings

Rhonda Lane Jennings, 72 of Evansville, WV passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1948, daughter of the late Truman R Wolfe Sr and Imogene M Murphy Wolfe. Rhonda graduated from Fellowsville High School, Class of 1966 and Fairmont State College, Class of 1969. She retired with twenty-five years of service from the Preston County Board of Education. Rhonda enjoyed teaching Math and last worked as a Home Bound Teacher. She loved gardening, doing floral arrangements and making quilts for the family. She was a co-owner with her husband at Jennings Nursery. Rhonda was a member of the Evansville United Methodist Church and supported several different churches and had a strong Christian Faith. She was also a member of the Evansville Homemakers. Rhonda is survived by her husband, Gareth Lynn Jennings; three children, A Travis Jennings and wife, Donna, Evansville, R Lanai Jennings-Knotts and husband, Jason, Walton, WV, Nathan S Jennings and wife, Mary, Laurel Mountain; ten grandchildren, Megan Dewitt and husband, Robert, Brooke Jennings, Wyatt Knotts, Hayden Knotts, Seneca Jennings, Fallyn Jennings, Sayer Jennings, Hailiee Goff, Tyler Goff and Austin Goff; and one great-grandchild on the way; one sister, Lalah Larew, Moatsville; one brother, Truman R Wolfe Jr and Susan, Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 2– 7 PM with proper distancing and face mask required. A Service will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11AM with Rev Rotha Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Evansville Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.bolyardfuneralhomewv.com.
