Robert "Bobby" Lee Hershman, Jr.

Robert “Bobby” Lee Hershman, Jr., 51 of Lynchburg, VA passed away on August 16, 2020. He was born February 18, 1969 in Morgantown, son of Cristal Charmaine Strawderman Hershman, Kingwood, Robert Lee Hershman Sr, Kingwood.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Orval G and Fannie L “Perks” Strawderman who raised him.  He enjoyed spending time with his Motorcycle Buddies and loved to talking to everyone, painting model cars, and canvas portraits. In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his siblings, Jeneva Renea Hershman, GA, her son, Russell Brian Hershman and Allyse, OH, and his two sons, Tallyn and Egan, Karen Street and Edward, and son, Miles Street, Reedsville, Billy Hershman and his children, Cerra and Zander Hershman, Tunnelton, Connie Ridenour and Rocky “Buckwheat” and son, Rocky Ridenour, Newburg; his special aunt, Beverly Pyles, Tunnelton, aunts and uncles, Gail Strawderman Baylor and James, Marquess, Loletta Delashmit and Brian, Carmichael, PA, Mary Carder, Elyria, OH, Arthur G Strawderman and Claudia, Philadelphia, PA, Orval D Strawderman and Kathy, Tunnelton; and several cousins. In addition to his maternal grandparents, Orval G and Fannie L “Perks” Strawderman, Bobby was preceded in death by his uncle, Ricky Pyles, sister-in-law, Chasity Hershman, paternal grandparents, Charles and Evelyn M Knight Hershman, three nieces, Kierra, Kaylee and Madison Street and one nephew, Edward Jr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10AM to time of service at 12 Noon with Pastor Rev Ray Frankhouser officiating. proper distancing and face mask required. Inurnment will follow at Camp Ground Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his funeral care fund on our website.
