Roberta "Ellen" (Larew) Taylor

Roberta "Ellen" Taylor, 82 of Newburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Preston Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1939 in Newburg, daughter of the late Herbert Earl “Jay” and Wilma Virginia “Bell” Larew. Ellen graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1958. She loved quilting, talking on the phone, walking, and working in her yard. Ellen is survived by two sons, Douglas Taylor and Caroline, Morgantown, Mark Taylor and Tracy, Valley Point; five grandchildren, Rodney and Niki, Glenn Jay and Nick, Terry and Johnna, Melinda and Jeremiah, Carrie and Parker; eight great-grandchildren, Chloe, Kohlee, Shaelynn, Zoey, Logan, Elias, Gabriella, MacKenzie, and she was looking forward to Baby William Douglas; one brother, Klet J Larew and Sheila, Newburg. In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Eugene Larew and wife Nancy Louise Larew; one niece, Cynthia Ann Larew; one great-granddaughter, Emmaleigh. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 3-7 pm and Friday, May 20, 2022 from 9am until time of service at 11:00 am with the Junior Lunsford officiating.
