Roxane Lee Moats

Roxane Lee (Eagle) Moats, 59 of Kingwood, WV passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Mon General Hospital with family by her side. She was born on May 21, 1965 in Kingwood, WV, daughter of the late Clayton Charles Eagle Sr and Geraldine Leona (DeBerry) Eagle. Roxane graduated from Central Preston High School, Class of 1984. She previously worked as a CNA at Heartland and Albright Oil. She loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking. Roxane is survived by one daughter, Joni Leona (Martin) Titchnell (Josh), Fellowsville; one son, Kenneth Clayton Martin (Katherine), Kingwood; father of her children, Kenneth “Kenny” Martin, Fellowsville; five grandchildren, Addison “Peanut” Titchnell, Emberlynn “Crickett” Martin, Marvellynn Martin, CarrMichael “Monk” Myatt, and Cage Martin; two sisters, Linda Kay (Eagle) Shultz, Debra (Eagle) Hovatter (Kenny, Sr); nephew, Kenneth “Knothead” Hovatter Jr; great nephew, Austin “Tink” Hovatter; her four legged companion, Nugget; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Roxane is preceded in death by three siblings, Norman Eagle, Gary Eagle, Clayton Eagle Jr., and one brother in infancy; one brother-in-law, Stanley Shultz. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.
