Russell R Wolfe

RUSSELL R. WOLFE, age 94, passed away at home on November 11, 2022.  He was born in Fellowsville, West Virginia on April 12, 1928.  Russell was the son of Lorain and Laura (nee Cobun).  He was the husband of Joann (nee Melrose); loving father of Kenneth R. Wolfe (Cynthia) of Colebank of WV, Timothy L. Wolfe (Denise) of Chagrin Falls, OH and David M. Wolfe (Jennifer) of Lancaster, OH; cherished grandfather of Lena M. Cline (Zach) of Thornton, WV, Justin J. Wolfe (Tana) of Northfield, OH, Sarah E. Weaver (Elliot) of Arthurdale, WA , Walter R. Wolfe of Mayfield, OH, and  Matthew D. Wolfe (Shannon) of Indianapolis, IN; dearest great-grandfather of Ezekiel Cline, Savannah Cline and Ava Wolfe;  brother of Robert (Dorothy) (both deceased) of Colebank WV, Amanda Welsh (Ralph, deceased) of Nova, OH; L. Darwin (deceased) (Karen) of Thornton, WV and Lana Ruth Rhodes (Phillip, deceased) of Tunnelton, WV.  He was the uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.  Russell served in the U.S. Army in an armored division.  He loved being with people and, as a high school teacher, making a positive impact on young lives.  Russell was active in his church and loved hunting and fishing in the outdoors, especially fishing in Canada with his fellow teachers.  Russell’s life will be celebrated at a later date.  Memorial contributions are suggested in his name to the United Methodist Church of Macedonia, 1280 East Aurora Rd., Macedonia, OH 44056.
