Sandra Lee Poling, 60 of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at her residence. Sandra was born on June 5, 1964, in Philippi, daughter of Robert Dale “Bob” Poling, Grafton, and the late Charlene Poling. Sandra graduated from Grafton High School, Class of 1982 and Fairmont State College in 2012 with a Degree in Criminal Justice and Homeland Security. She had worked for Taylor County Workshop, RES-care, and was currently working as a WV State Investigator for Office of Health Facility Licensure and Certification. She was a member of the Independence Baptist Church. Sandra loved sewing, quilting, shopping and doing crafts. In addition to her father, Sandra is survived by one daughter, Elisa Fawn Poling and husband, Joel Adam Cogar, Grafton; one grandson, Kolten Nathaniel Poling; two brothers, Robert Dale Poling Jr and wife Sarena, Belington, Richard Raymond Poling and wife Andrea, Fellowsville; three nephews, Kevin Cody Poling, Simon Dwight Poling and wife, Savannah, Matthew Robert Poling and wife Anna; one niece, Evelena Mae Poling; two aunts, Norma J Holleran and Dayton “Tucker” Henderson, Independence; and Dorothy Lee Zinn, Reedsville; two uncles, Lester R Pratt and wife Carrie “Betty”, Independence; Robert Eugene Stewart, Independence. In addition to her mother, Sandra is preceded in death by one aunt, Dorothy Mae Stewart; three uncles, Robert Dale Zinn, Paul Donald Poling and John Edward Poling and wife, Naomi Jean. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Friday, February 14, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 pm, and Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm with the Pastor Carl Trickett officiating.
