Sandra Jean Weaver, 73 of Independence, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Mon General Hospital with family by her side. She was born on August 7, 1951 in Laurel, MD, daughter of the late Luther and Dorothy Pierce. Sandra graduated from Laurel High School, Class of 1969. She loved sewing, shopping, doing ceramics, and restoring old photo. Sandra is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roy “Dave” David Weaver; one son, Brian Scott Weaver, MD; one daughter, Kimberly Michell Centano, MD; five grandchildren, Kaylee Weaver, Brandon Miller, Chase Miller, Bella Centano and Jacob Hardwick; one brother, Jeff Pierce (Amy), MD; one sister, Patty Pierce, MD; six brothers-in-law, Don Weaver and Amy Durr, Independence, Jack Weaver and June, Brandywine, Ward Weaver and Rose, Rupert, John Weaver and Cathy, Independence, and Ben Weaver, Clifton Mills and Don Funk, Tunnelton, two sisters-in-law, Zelma Hensel and Ed, Iverness, FL, Reta Haube and Steve, Howesville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by one son, Jason Hardwick Weaver; three brothers-in law, Bruce Weaver and Sarah, Jerry Weaver and Ruth, Jesse Bernard Weaver and June; three sisters-in-law, Deborah Rae Weaver, Lena Weaver and Lovetta Funk. Sandra will be cremated and will be at the Bolyard Funeral Home, Newburg, WV, 79 Morgantown Ave Newburg, WV on January 25, 2025 from 2 pm until time of service with a Celebration of Life at 3 pm with Pastor Mike Bernard officiating.
