Stephen "Steve" Paul Alan Taylor

Stephen “Steve” Paul Alan Taylor, 46 of Kingwood, WV passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025. He was born on August 11, 1978 in Newport, RI, son of the late Debbie Sue Taylor. Steve worked at Reedsville Shop and Save as the Manager in the Meat Department. He enjoyed watching football and other sports and loved playing baseball at a young age. Steve is survived by his wife, Wendy Lea (Dalton) Taylor; one son, Christian Paul Alan Taylor; one daughter, Temperance Amoralea Taylor; five aunts, Sheri "Tabby" Fincher and husband Ron of Willow Spring, NC, Tammy Lynn Shifflett of Port St. Lucie, FL, Bobbi Jo Shultz and husband Neil of Connellsville, PA, Betty Jo Taylor of Dallas, TX and Toni Snodgrass; two uncles, Alan M. Taylor Jr. and Vernon Shifflett, both of Masontown; father-in-law, Kenneth “Kenny” Dalton; Arthurdale; several cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alan "Buck" M. Taylor; one uncle, Lawrence Paul Taylor; mother-in-law, Sharon Lee (Stone) Dalton. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Mount Zion Cemetery, Masontown, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his Care Fund on his memorial page.
