Susan Jean (Hovatter) Annon

Susan Jean Annon, 74 of Newburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Kingwood Healthcare Center. She was born on July 14, 1950, daughter of the late Gerald J and Glenna Jeanne (Soulon) Hovatter. Susan graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1970. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, reading the bible and babysitting for family. She was raised in the Bethel United Methodist Church in the Scotch Hill Community. Susan is survived by her husband, Donald Lee Annon whom she married on May 17, 1970; four children, Wanda Maxwell and Richard, Newburg, Vance Annon, Newburg, Becky Bolyard fiancé George Bolyard, Newburg,  and Bradlee Annon, Homer City, PA; five grandchildren, Megan Elliott (Brad),  Logan Maxwell, Jonathan Annon, Brandon Iandiorio, and Cordell Bolyard; two great-granddaughters, Morgan Elliott and Marley Elliott; one sister, Ann (Hovatter) Crowe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by one sister, Clara I (Reenie) Lewis; one brother, Steven R Hovatter. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV, on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 3-7 pm and Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 9am until the time of service at 11am, with Pastor Terry Wilt and Rocky Ridenour officiating.
