Teddy Allen Murray, 67 of Thornton, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Grafton City Hospital with family by his side. He was born on February 18, 1955 in Fellowsville, son of the late Freeman Charles and Anna Mae (Funk) Murray. Teddy loved spending time with his family and especially his nieces and nephews, and also his fur babies, Shelby, Copper and Dud. He enjoyed cutting grass, collecting nascar and model cars and washing and waxing everyone’s vehicles. Teddy was a member of Fellowsville Assembly of God. He helped at Taylor Funeral Home and Bolyard Funeral Home being pallbearer for many family and friends over the years. Teddy is survived by two sisters, Patty Poling and Bill, Marquess, Brenda Larew and Jim, Thornton, four sisters-in-law, Beverly Murray, Grafton and Ethel Mae Murray, Tunnelton, Debbie Murray, Marquess, Darleen Murray, York Run; one brother-in-law, Terry Shipp, Marquess; twenty-one, nieces and nephews, Sherri Meffe and Rob, Rhonda Farrell and Kenny, Lisa Bolyard and Bobby, Jamey Murray and Amber, Dave Murray, Brian Murray, Greg Murray and Donna, Kim Murray and Chris, Shelly Minard and Jeff, Amy Phillips and Derek, Melissa Matlick and Rick, Teressa Newcome and Chip, Cheryl Moon and Cecil, Jody Markley and Lee, Kristy Haddix and Bobby, Samantha Heupp and Bob, Carrie Setler and Chris, Jennifer Hess and Jack, Kelbi Harman and Glen, Aaron Shipp and Megan and Tara Campbell and Scott; several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Teddy was preceded in death by five brothers, Edward Murray, Robert “Bob” Murray, Randy Murray and Charles Franklin Murray and wife, Yvonne, Freeman Junior Murray; one sister, Debbie Shipp; one niece, Stephanie Jane Murray, his fur babies, Bingo and Baby Alfalfa. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 1:00-8:00 PM and at Fellowsville Assembly of God on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until time of the funeral service at 1:00PM with Pastor Kevin Leadbeater, Pastor Jimmy Johnson and Pastor David Murray officiating.
