Terrell "T.R." Nelson Ramsey

Terrell “T.R.” Nelson Ramsey, 89 of Newburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at his residence with family by his side. He was born in Silver Hill, WV on August 18, 1930, son of the late Elmer H and Ethel L Kuhens Ramsey. T.R. was a truck driver over the road for Matlack with over twenty seven years of service. He enjoyed watching TV, especially baseball and basketball. Terrell loved working on old cars and loved antique automobiles. Terrell was survived by his wife, Sharon R Matlick Ramsey whom he married on June 8, 2002; three step-sons, Michael Spiker and Judy, Newburg, Don Allen Spiker and Joyce, Newburg and Terry Spiker and Julie, Reedsville; one step-daughter, Barbara Rupp and Reed, New Bethlehem, PA; one sister, Hilda Davies, Middlebourne; several nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Terrell was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen “Pat” Ramsey; four brothers, Fred Ramsey, Eldred Ramsey, Dean Ramsey and twin brother, Sherrell Ramsey; three sisters, Eula Yocum, Faye Miller and Dorothy Jackson. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 12-6PM, and Monday, September 9, 2019 from 9AM until time of service at 11AM with Rev. Janet Flanagan, of WV Caring . Interment will follow at the Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Terrell’s memory to a Charity of your Choice.
