Vera Lyla Clare (Ridenour) Moats

Vera Lyla Clare Ridenour Moats, 88 of Owings Mills, MD passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022, with family members by her side. She was married for 63 years to her beloved husband the late Ralph Francis Moats. Born July 25, 1933 in Preston County, WV the daughter of the late John Morgan Ridenour and the late Shirley (Bolyard) Ridenour. She is survived by her children Ralph Moats, Jr and wife Susan, daughter Marilyn Wallace and husband Jeffrey, daughter Pamela Miller and husband Ricci, daughter Barbara Ridenour, 2 half-brothers Gregory and Delmas Ridenour, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson Francis Moats, 8 siblings and 2 step-brothers
Mrs. Moats was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting and cooking. A Graveside Service will be held at Flag Run Cemetery, Etam, WV on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev.
