Vivian Loraine Rutherford

Vivian Loraine Rutherford, 84 of Fellowsville, passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 1, 2022. She was born on September 5, 1938 in Preston County, daughter of the late Leslie Ray Larue and Ruth Blanche (Stone) Larue Shaffer. Vivian graduated from Masontown High School. She worked as an Aide for the Preston County Board of Education with thirty plus years of service. Vivian was a member of the Fellowsville United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and very active with the church. She loved reading and doing word search puzzles. Vivian was survived by her loving daughter, Rhonda Lynne Rutherford/Bulford and husband Larry, Rowlesburg; two grandchildren, Jamie and Kevin Stemple, Aimee and Sarah Bulford; one great-grandchild, Kelsey and Derek North and son, Jaxon; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, George Lyle Rutherford; four brothers, Glen Ray Larue, Harry Larue, Lance Shaffer and Wayman Charles Larue. A Graveside service will be held at Mount Israel Cemetery on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11 am with Pastor Kevin Keplinger officiating Online condolences can be made at www.bolyardfuneralhomewv.com.
