Wayman Charles Larue, 93 of Terra Alta, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 08, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born on May 4, 1928 in Newburg, son of the late Leslie Ray Larue and Ruth Blanche Stone Larue Shaffer. Wayman served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as a welder from Towmotor (Catpillars) in Cleveland, OH. He loved working on cars, trucks and traveling around to different places. Wayman is survived by one sister, Vivian Rutherford, Fellowsville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Wayman was preceded in death by three brothers, Glen Ray Larue, Harry Larue and Lance Shaffer. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10 am until time of the service at 12:00 pm with the Chaplain Dennis Lusin officiating. Interment will follow at the Blackwood Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the US Air Force Honor Guard.
