Wendy E (Hinkle) Johnson

Wendy E “Hinkle” Johnson, 50 of Reedsville, WV passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her residence with family by her side. She was born in Norfolk, VA, on June 10, 1971, daughter of William and Norma “Bauer” Hinkle, Charlestown, WV. Wendy graduated from Central Preston High School, Class of 1990. She was a member of the Kingwood Christian Fellowship Church. Wendy enjoyed doing crafts, woodworking and fishing. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Wendy is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Lee Johnson II; one son, Ryan Lee Johnson and fiancé Kristen Moury, Tunnelton; one daughter, Stacie Lynn Johnson and companion, Jason, Kingwood; six grandchildren, Ayden, Mason, Daisy, Ryder, Hunter and Hayley; her father-in-law, Gerald Lee Johnson I, Tunnelton; mother-in-law, Debra Louise “Blair” Cox, Grafton; and her close friend, Dave Keener. Wendy was preceded in death by Jerry’s grandparents, Bob and Nancy Johnson. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3:00-7:00 PM, and on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Derek Syruws. Interment will be at Childers Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her Care Fund on her memorial page.
