Wesley "Buddy" Earl Adams

Wesley “Buddy” Earl Adams, 71, of Reedsville, formerly of Newburg, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on December 9, 1950 in Grafton, son of the late Paul Adams and Amy Muriel Deavers. Buddy had worked as a coal miner for Preston Energy for fourteen years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and his animals, especially his fur baby, Bella. Buddy was a member of the Birdscreek United Methodist Church. Buddy is survived by his wife Deborah Lynne “Dewitt” Adams, whom he married on April 16, 1974; three sons, Christopher Knotts and wife, Roxanne,  Waynesburg, OH, Anthony “Tony” Adams and companion Holly, Kingwood, Wesley Ryan Adams, Independence; one daughter, Jennifer Adams and companion Dan, Independence; six grandchildren, Tyler Adams and wife, Jessica, Travis Adams, Helen Adams, Roamie Rogers, Caleb Adams and companion, Maddie Pumphrey, and Gracie Adams; one great-grandchild, Waylon Chase Adams; one brother, Richard Adams and companion, Sharon, Tunnelton;  and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by six brothers, Edward Deavers, Lester Deavers, Charles Deavers, James Deavers, Dave Adams and Tom Adams; his father-in-law, Darrel Blake DeWitt, mother-in-law, Virginia Mae Pyles Dewitt. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV, on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 3:00pm-7:00pm and Friday, May 27, 2022 from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am with the Pastor Delbert Lyons officiating.
