Willard Hugh Bolyard

Willard Hugh Bolyard, 80 of Thornton, WV, Fellowsville Community, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his home with family by his side. He was born September 9, 1938 at Kanetown, WV, son of the late Russell Faris and Daisy Mae Wolfe Bolyard. Willard graduated from Fellowsville High School, Class of 1956. He retired from Sterling Faucet with over 40 years of service. Willard enjoyed hunting and farming and worked most of his life on the farm. Willard loved hugging women the most. Willard is survived by three children, Michael A Bolyard and wife Brenda, Thornton, Sheryl L Maier and husband John, Tunnelton, Steven E Bolyard and Stephanie Arnett, Thornton; five grandchildren who were loved very dearly, Cody A Bolyard  and Brittany Liston, Jonathon M Bolyard and Mackenzie Hartley, Rebecca A Fullmer and Matthew Bolyard, Mathew JS Maier and Cordell L Bolyard; one great-grandson, Gunner Bolyard; one sister, Norma Clarkson, Newburg; special friend, F. Anna Bolyard, Kingwood, special friends that was like his children, Keith and Debbie Hamilton, Thornton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Willard was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Sue (Goodwin) Bolyard in 2011; one brother in infancy, Paul Faris Bolyard one brother, Leland Bolyard and wife Deloris. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 2-8pm, and Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 9am until the service at 11am with the Dr David D Spence officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to WV Caring P.O. Box 760 Arthurdale, WV 26520.
