William "Bill" Francis Esbrandt, Sr.

William “Bill” F Esbrandt Sr, 70 of Scranton, PA formerly of Union Beach, NJ, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Grafton City Hospital with family by his side. He was born on July 27, 1953 in Red Bank NJ, son of the late Fredrick G Esbrandt and Margaret E (Schreiber) Esbrandt. Bill served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired as an OTR Truck Driver. Bill was also a Volunteer for both Union Beach NJ and Mount Cobb PA Fire Departments. He was a member of the American Legion Post 321, Union Beach NJ. Bill is survived by five children, Jessica Vergnetti and Frankie, Waymart, PA, Amanda Wolfenbarger and Frankie, Friendsville, TN, William F Esbrandt Jr, Hughestown, PA, Catherine “Kat” Esbrandt, Archbald, PA and Tamara Deal, Easley, SC; nine grandchildren, one sister, Gale Ann (Esbrandt) Turner, Fellowsville WV;  two brothers, Thomas Esbrandt and Elizabeth, Eulas, TX, Keith Esbrandt and Lynn, Union Beach, NJ; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Fredrick D Esbrandt; one brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” V. Turner Sr. A Celebration of his Life will be held on September 28, 2024 at Union Hose Fire Co 1 1224 Florence Ave Union Beach, NJ 07735 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM.
