William "Pete" L Hall

William “Pete” Hall, 65 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on March 24, 1960 in Kingwood, son of the late Virgil Ray and Mary Ann (Cool) Hall. Pete graduated from Central Preston High School, Class of 1980 and enjoyed being in FFA. He had previously worked for Preston Sanitation for several years. Pete was a Lifetime member of the Tunnelton Volunteer Fire Department since 1980, and an Aide for the Tunnelton EMS. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Pete is survived by his sister, Jana Wolfe (Harold), Tunnelton; two nieces, Alexis (Punky) Rankin (Nolan), Maryann Wolfe (Dakotah), two nephews, Wyatt Wolfe, and Remington Wolfe; his great nephew, Xavier Wolfe; his great niece, Hope Rankin; and several cousins. In addition to his parents, Pete is preceded in death by one great niece, Nevaeh. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm, and Monday, August 25, 2025 from 2:00 pm until time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 pm with the Pastor Dave Biggins officiating. Private Interment at Shiloh Cemetery, Kasson, Barbour County.
