Obituary

Yvonne Sue (Stone) Colebank, 72 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on May 30, 2023 at Berkeley Springs Healthcare Center in Berkeley Springs, WV. She was born at home in Stone Holler in Marquess, WV on August 16, 1950, daughter of the late Kenneth and Berley Caroline (Bolyard) Stone. Yvonne was employed at Hopemont Hospital as a nurse’s aide, and dietary worker at sixteen years old, did babysitting, and was a waitress at Thornton Restaurant in Thornton, WV, and a homemaker and mother for the rest of her life. She was Pentecostal by Faith. Yvonne enjoyed doing puzzle books, watching her hummingbirds, scrapbooking, traveling, going to country music shows at “TALLEY’S”, GARY’S PLACE, and Sagebrush Roundup where she loved to dance and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Donna S (Stone) Pratt and David, Copperas Cove, TX; one son, Micheal William Colebank and Donna Kelly, Yellow Spring, WV; one ex-daughter-in-law, Sharon Lea Colebank, Romney; five grandchildren, Thomas J Pratt and Katie, Morgantown, Mary Ann and Whitney Shanholtz, Romney, Sarah and Ralph Sirk Jr, Romney, Michelle and Nathan McFadden, Bunker Hill, WV, Brandon Patron, Winchester, VA; three great-grandchildren, Will, Matthew and Aiden Amos, Morgantown; two sibling, Rosemary Winters, Marquess, Vernon “Bud” Stone and  wife, Bertie, Scotch Hill; sister-in-law, Deloris Stone, Wanda Colebank; both Marquess, Sylvia “Pid” Miller and Charles, Newburg; Sandra Lyons and George, Arthurdale, Helen Diaz and Alfredo “Freddie”,  Detroit Michigan, Linda “Butchie” Colebank, Belington, Kay Colebank, KY; brothers-in-law, Doyle “Kip” and Linda Colebank, Tunnelton; Gene R Colebank, Grafton and Angela Colebank Front Royal, VA; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Argle W Colebank; one grandson, Michael Colebank Jr; five sibling, Kenneth Paul Stone, Dorothy Bowman and husband, Ralph, Betty Bowman and husband, Harold, Jerry Stone, Anna Mae Cline and husband Adam; brothers-in-law, Albert Winters Jr, Leon “Bill” Colebank, Howard “Ike” Colebank, James “Tommy” Colebank, Donald Colebank,; two sister-in-law, Betty M (Colebank) McGinnis and Dori (Colebank) Miller. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 3-7 pm and Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 9:00 am until time of service at 11 am.
